My grandfather founded this tobacco business in 1947 and hence he named the company “Azad Bharat Tobacco Factory”. Started the business of raw tobacco, molasses, species and ready hookah tobacco locally. Hookah tobacco is also called Khamira. Gradually this business moved towards its heights. Almost, hookah tobacco i.e. Khamira started being sold all over the country i.e. from North to South India and "Azad" itself became a name in the world of hookah tobacco. In 1965, grandfather visited Saudi Arabia for the first time and returned with an order for 25 wooden boxes. In this way grandfather started exporting hookah tobacco. Gradually time passed and business also increased. Apart from Saudi Arabia, Libya and Tunisia are also exporting.
